My professional path had been marked by a passion for innovation and for applying new technologies to solve problems with a social impact. That desire guided all of my professional choices, from research to innovation.
The 10-years spent working in the USA at Bell-Labs, MIT, AT&T Labs and NYU left a remarkable mark not only for having broaden my scientific and professional experiences but also for having nurtured my entrepreneurial mindset, and curiosity for exploring new technological frontiers. During that period my appreciation for interdisciplinary approaches and diversity (e.g., technical, viewpoints, background) as a relevant ingredient for innovation sprung up.
Working in different countries and environments helped to widen my perspective, sharpen my intuition and adaptability, which are key components for tackling emerging challenges and opportunities in a fast-paced changing world.
